They want to see us fall

I started this like a month ago, and finally finished it today. My sketch and lineart: [link] It was for 's contest. These are her characters, William and Emily.

I think that William and Emily might have a really difficult relationship with each other. There are a lot of outside forces going against them or maybe there's something keeping them from being too happy. (Some of the pictures, they seem to be regretting something, but I'm not sure if it's about each other or about something else.

They genuinely love each other, but maybe there's a lot of trouble that might come with being together? Like some people might want to kill Emily, since she's a hitwoman, and they are waiting for their chance for Emily or Will to mess up.

But William and Emily are there for each other as partners and they are looking out for each other.

Also this line was really romantic:

I thought that it represents how they will make this relationship work no matter what. Sort of. I think.

I'm so bad at this!!! Augh!!!

And this pic, I guess it looks like William like, wet his pants but actually, he got shot in the stomach. And Emily is here for him so hopefully he won't die.
